Week seven saw only four players go through with Everton and Leeds, as West Ham, Southampton and Liverpool all drew. Week eight, becomes a bye for the four players all on Spurs, as the game was postponed 3 hours before KO due to COVD.  As per the rules, this counts as a win, however Spurs can no longer be selected for any future weeks. At present, none of the fixtures for gameweek nine, 1-4 January are postponed, but this may change as most of the country moves to T4 restrictions.  Watch this space. Just a reminder of the rules, as we come into the usual period of bad weather - this year combined with Covid postponements - that, like the Aston Villa v Newcastle game last week, any games called off  before  the 4pm deadline will be removed and you'll be asked to re-pick.  Non-picking at this stage will revert to the auto-pick.  If it's very close to 4pm there will likely be a small extension, but I'll play that by ear if it happens.  Any games called off  after  the 4pm deadline are the ones where you are treated to a bye. Leicester, yet again, proving to be a bogey team with a huge exodus.  Overall, 411 players fell at the second hurdle (294 on Leicester), meaning we have 211 moving on to week three.
