Week Seven

Chances of a winner are high yet again, as both players have different teams for week seven. Chris is on the earlier game yet again, with Man City in the Saturday 12:30 KO, away to Sheff Utd. Roger has the later game just over 24 hours later, hoping Everton can beat Newcastle at St. James Park.  This one kicks off at 14:00 The bookies put the odds clearly in Chris's favour - 2/7 vs evens. But the bookies are not always correct. File with picks is here: Week Seven Good Luck to them both! Regards, Ralph http://www.facebook.com/ PremiershipKiller   https://twitter.com/ ThePremKiller

How to subscribe...

Image
If you've made it here, you're halfway there to subscribing to the blog - for all the updates.  Or maybe you are already subscribed, and this serves as a nice confirmation that it works.   I'm not quite sure how frequently these are sent (yet) - at least once a day, which I hope will be enough. How do I subscribe?  It's as easy as 1-2-3-er... 4 1. When you open the blog there's a big ol' button right under the header.  Click it. 2. Enter your email addy, and then click the "get email notifications" button. 3. Click the Captcha confirming you're not a robot (you're not a robot, right?), and then click "complete subscription request" 4. Think you're done?  Not quite... To confirm your subscription, you'll get an activation email to your account - it might go to junk or spam, so have a check, but its normally instant.  Click the link, and you're done. You'll then appear in my list of subscribers and will receive the ema

Week Six Results: Down to two...

Spurs left it fairly late, but that man Son (missing from my draft team this year 😢) popped up once again to win the match. That means we have two players progressing into week eight - with a chance of winning the £8205 The form for week seven is here, with a deadline of 4pm on Friday 30th October:  https://forms.gle/YduxHVRDLwNaHPwq8 You can find the file with all results so far here:  Week Six Finally, as the googlegroups distribution e-mail doesn't look like being resolved, I've opted to change to a blog type reminder - the problem is that it doesn't seem to send at a consistent hour.  That said, you can always find the latest details direct on this page, and I will also update on Facebook and Twitter.  Please share with other players.  I'll try doing a focussed email send - if gmail will allow it... Will we have a winner?

Three teams picked for this weekends set of fixtures. On Saturday, Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Sheff Utd, seeing one player through. On Sunday, Wolves v Newcastle was a hard watch.  Wolves thought they'd won it late in the game, only to be denied by a clever Murphy free kick.  Two players out. Tonight, it could be all over.  Spurs are away at Burnley.  If they win, then two players total move into week seven.  If they lose, then Chris Boyer takes the prize. Exciting times indeed! Updated file here:  Week Six

A new beginning?

So... where to begin? Well, firstly after a good few years using Google Groups as the e-mail distribution client, it finally gave up the goose, and no longer works.  Despite 2 weeks of the helpful community members trying to find out what is wrong, we're still no further forward.  I can't go back to just e-mail, as with too many players cannot possibly contact all in one go, and would continually exceed the daily limit.  A few other options all appear to be unfeasible, as would impact the pot, or restrict the number of players. The time has therefore come to change how to communicate.  Afterall, I play Super6 each week without an email reminder... And thus, the blog is born.  I'm still working out all the kinks, but with integration to both Facebook and Twitter, it looks like this may be the way forward. So without further adue, here is the file for week six. Week Six We're down to four players remaining with three games to watch this weekend. I'll see how this gets
