Week One - Update 16.09 - £5870

Sorry for the daily updates, but its easiest to keep everyone in the loop on paid/picked.

We're up to £5870 as of about 7pm tonight, with 245 players still to commit. 

We've got a fair few players forgot that they weren't in the last round, so need to send another £5 to ensure everyone has £10 pot commitment.  Please check the file if in doubt.

Blue - missed last game, should pay £10 (if you're marked £5 or blank, you need to pay)
Orange - paid in advance for future games (if you've paid for someone else let me know)

We've 2 days before the first game kicks off, and as its a Friday KO, I'll be locking everything down ASAP after we hit 4pm. If you're not paid by this time, you're not in. Paid but not picked will be the most popular selection and a life will be lost. You only have 1 life. A second non-pick = OUT!

Not getting the e-mail?

I've seen some people having issues with receiving e-mails - as always mainly Microsoft relating (they must really hate google), so my recommendation is to:

-    Bookmark the blog:  The emails only ever link to the blog anyway.  Haven't got an email?  Check the blog to see if you've missed one.  https://premkiller.blogspot.com/

-    Follow on socials:  Facebook and Twitter updates after every blog update, but you can also get involved in some 'friendly bantz' during the games (if I have time/signal to update while watching/at the game)

Week One Selections

*** Noon Update: A few of the players got their payments in this morning, and a few more jumped on the bandwagon knowing they'd get City (but losing their lifeline).  Pot is now locked in at £3585 Well - tonight has been a bit of a nightmare.  Multiple players have reached out that their banking apps have been down and they've been unable to pay.  I am therefore giving a bit of grace to get any remaining payments in - noon Saturday .  Worst case you can pay via paypal here:  https://www.paypal.me/ premkiller/5/ So, with that, we have a confirmed pot of (minimum)  £3530. Week One Results / Week Two Fixtures

Well that's been a stressful few days, but the file is now all reconciled with payments and I can confirm we have a prize pot of £3560* (with £60 in pre-payments for the next game(s) - players marked in orange). That meant we started with 712 players, however after week one, it's already down by 103 to 609 remaining. The deadlines are thick and fast over the next fortnight, so if in doubt, pick now and you can re-pick later (before deadline) if you change your mind.
