Week One Results / Week Two Fixtures

Everyone loves a bit of Killer Carnage, right? Well, I guess not 400 of you!

As the weekend draws to a close with Man Utd scraping a point against Fulham, 362 players can breathe a sigh of relief and take a few weeks' break until Week Two.

And what a first week it was.

The biggest damage came courtesy of Nottingham Forest, with a whopping 241 players putting their faith in them against Coventry. A 1–0 defeat later and more than a third of the entire field had disappeared in one fell swoop.

They weren't the only ones to fall, either. By the end of the weekend, 400 players had been eliminated, leaving just 362 survivors from the starting field of 762.

For those still standing, it's now time for the internationals, where teams can regroup, lick their wounds and prepare for the next load of games.

Week Two will begin with 362 players — less than half of the field we started with!

99 players go out this weekend, but it was nearly so much more - Chelsea coming from 2-0 down at HT to win 3-2 saving 147, and the 87 on Man Utd must have been panicking when Fulham levelled to 2-2 in the 90+1, before Sesko scored the winner on 90+4. Week One Results / Week Two Fixtures

Well that's been a stressful few days, but the file is now all reconciled with payments and I can confirm we have a prize pot of £3560* (with £60 in pre-payments for the next game(s) - players marked in orange). That meant we started with 712 players, however after week one, it's already down by 103 to 609 remaining. The deadlines are thick and fast over the next fortnight, so if in doubt, pick now and you can re-pick later (before deadline) if you change your mind.
