Despite losing to Grimsby midweek (we all need a laugh, and they certainly provide it), Man Utd are the most popular pick this week.  It's probably also the most 'changed pick' team since Wednesdays hilarious outcome. Afternoon everyone! First up... a correction.  Last week I incorrectly used the old rule to assign the non-pickers - via first alphabetical team not used (AFC Bournemouth).  It hadn't dawned on me that I changed the rule last year, and it should have been the most popular pick (Spurs).  That means that we have 6 players re-added to the game.  As I only realised this an hour before todays deadline, I've tried reaching out to them all, but chances are they just assumed out and might not have seen the email.  If no pick this week, I have reset their 'life' and hopefully they'll see this to be back in next week.  Apologies about that! We're back! It's taken a bit of sorting and reconciling, but I think it's all sorted now.  We have 806 players for the start of this round, which has absolutely smashed all previous records.  This means the pot stands at a whopping £4030  (highest before that was £3575). Welcome to all the new players, and welcome back to the regulars.  The rules can be found on the excel tab, but a quick reminder on the non-selection.  You've all essentially one life for this - if you forget to pick once you'll be given the most popular team that you haven't yet picked.  If you forgot to pick a second time, it's instant OUT. We've a few head-2-heads already, which guarantees fallers.  Non-selectors (there were a few) are allocated AFC Bournemouth (sorry).  And I had to remove a few players for non payment by the deadline.
