Week 1 - Update 25.09 - £1720

Online banking is back up and running, and all players/picks/payments up to ~8pm tonight are reconciled.  Anyone marked orange is paid up for the next game - if that was intended for another player, just drop me an email.

The pot is now up to £1720, with two days left for players to join.  Exactly 400 players are yet to commit, so that could rise by £2000 to be the largest opening pot we've had (£3485 the current record).

Rule Change:

I forgot to remind on Sunday that this season I'll be introducing the new auto-pick rules announced back in March:

Old:
"If an entrant fails to nominate a selection, that person will be allocated the highest placed league team not selected, regardless of home or away."

New:
"If an entrant fails to nominate a selection, that person will be allocated based on the most popular pick for the week, alphabetically.  If already used, the second most popular, etc...  Each player has one auto-pick per game, should the player not pick a second time, it will go down as an immediate loss."

There's no rest for us now, as we'll get straight on with a new game starting this coming weekend - see below for payment details.  The deadline is 4pm on Friday.  No pay = no play.

I've seen some people having issues with receiving e-mails - as always mainly Microsoft relating (they must really hate google), so my recommendation is to:

-    Follow on socials:  Facebook and Twitter updates after every blog update, but you can also get involved in some 'friendly bantz' during the games (if I have time/signal to update while watching/at the game)

Week Two Results / 3&4 Fixtures

Another crazy week, where just shy of 200 players bit the dust - only wins for Man City and Brentford making it through to week three (albeit, 12 on Chelsea who are still to play tonight). 198 of 435 gone, leaving 237 going into week 3. Week One Selections

Evening everyone!  'Welcome back' to our returning players, and 'hello there' to all the newbies.  We've 677 players for this round, which means a prize pot of £3415* * Update: some players appear to have selected “pay on x day” via their bank. The money has appeared this morning, post-dated Monday.
