Week 7 Results / Week 8 Fixtures

And just like that, we're down to 4 players - all of whom got through without making a pick this week.  I've been toying how to handle this situation for some time, so will be changing the auto-pick rule at the beginning of next season.

Old:
"If an entrant fails to nominate a selection, that person will be allocated the highest placed league team not selected, regardless of home or away."

New:
"If an entrant fails to nominate a selection, that person will be allocated based on the most popular pick for the week, alphabetically.  If already used, the second most popular, etc...  Each player has one auto-pick per game, should the player not pick a second time, it will go down as an immediate loss."

This might seem harsh, but other games I'm aware of, you don't even get one auto-pick, so it's still pretty generous.

Week Two Results / 3&4 Fixtures

Another crazy week, where just shy of 200 players bit the dust - only wins for Man City and Brentford making it through to week three (albeit, 12 on Chelsea who are still to play tonight). 198 of 435 gone, leaving 237 going into week 3. Week One Selections

Evening everyone!  'Welcome back' to our returning players, and 'hello there' to all the newbies.  We've 677 players for this round, which means a prize pot of £3415* * Update: some players appear to have selected “pay on x day” via their bank. The money has appeared this morning, post-dated Monday. I've added them, but will not be as lenient in future :) Arsenal is this weeks top pick - of which eight people have been allocated.  Remember, I'll allocate you for one gameweek if you miss a pick (most popular pick for the week), but a second miss and it will result in an automatic elimination from the game.  The fixtures for the next four gameweeks are below - pick now, and if you wish to change, you can do so up until the deadline.
